More Sweet Stuff....Cookies.




I was going to make an apricot pie. I made the pastry, I prepared the apricots (dried, as it's the middle of winter), and then I don't know what happened, but we ended up with Chocolate Shortbread and Brown Sugar Cookies.

After that sort of excess, a healthy soup was in order ~ Borlotti Bean, Pancetta and Cavolo Nero.

It was Bastille Day, so S.O. got in the Francophile spirit of things with his tres chic striped T.

Looks like you were doing quite some baking. The shortbread looks big and delicious! I just finished making some myself.
